Review: Gluta-C Intense Whitening Facial Day Cream With SPF 25; Gluta-C Intense Whitening Whitening Toner

I'm not sure if I should be reviewing these two products. Because this batch turned out to be my first SR disappointment. But I thought an honest review based on my experience will bring the heads up on some consumers that some products will have their unfavorable effects. Here's my unfortunate experience.

I'm a sucker for products with sun protection that's why I didn't have second thoughts to sample the Gluta-C Whitening Facial Day Cream with SPF 25. I like the pointed tip of the tube because it makes it easier to squeeze and control the amount needed. I want my facial day cream to have a matte finish because of my oily to part-oily skin but this one has semi-matte finish which did not really impress me. I only used this product for three days because it has caused breakouts on my forehead.

The Gluta-C Intense Whitening Toner has a mild, clean, fresh scent that I like. I haven't been using toner for years that's why I'm glad that this is an effective product: sting-free, cleanses, moisturizes and my pores were noticeably minimized.  I had to stop using this product after I had breakouts on my forehead. Although I believe it was caused by the Facial Day Cream I didn't want to take chances by using this alone just to make sure it's not the culprit. I just don't want another Gluta-C product touching my face anymore! Just the face as I might give the Gluta-C Intense Whitening Original Body Lotion and Body Scrub a second chance. :)
