Review: Gluta-C Intense Whitening Original Body Lotion and Body Scrub

I'm not really into whitening products. But I lately, I noticed that the skin coloring on my upper arms are not even. The part which gets the most sun exposure is darker than the part which always get covered by the sleeves. I already get a little self conscious with it especially when my sleeves are a tad shorter. I also don't feel comfy wearing sleeveless tops anymore. So when I found that Gluta-C products were available at Sample Room I immediately use my points on two items: the body scrub and the body lotion.

I have high expectations of this product because of its Glutathione, Vitamin C and Papaya Enzyme combination. It’s like all the whitening powers are there and like a magic wand I expect it to immediately give me impressive results. But that’s not the case as I’ve tried cheaper body scrubs which works way better even after first use alone. I’m also not very happy with the price. I’m neutral with the smell and I like its texture.

I like the smell and the thick, non-greasy consistency of this lotion. But the best part is probably its sunscreen power. I’m not very much convinced with its whitening and moisturizing effect though. With its Glutathione, Vitamin C and plant extracts combo the result is just not what I expected after using it for a week. I can also feel my skin shouting, "more moisture, please!"
